The Story of Magic of Colours
Magic of Colours began in 2015 with a simple act of volunteering. At a community fundraising event, I offered to do face painting — despite having no experience. In just three hours, we raised $60. But what stayed with me wasn’t the money.
It was the joy.
Watching children light up when they saw their painted reflection revealed something powerful about creativity — it transforms how we feel. The following year, I returned professionally trained with high-quality paints and a deep commitment to the craft. I practised everywhere I could — on friends, university classmates and even pharmacy coworkers. That was the beginning of Magic of Colours.
Meet the Founder
Creativity has always been my sanctuary.
When I create, the world softens. It is where I feel most present and connected.
By profession, I am a pharmacist with extensive experience in healthcare. Alongside this, I have completed a Diploma of Art Therapy and a Diploma of Counselling.
To some, this path may seem unconventional. To me, it makes perfect sense.
Both science and creativity centre around care.
In 2025, I was honoured to be nominated for the 7NEWS Young Achiever Awards for my work across healthcare, disability support and creative wellbeing.
Today, through workshops, creative experiences and guided sessions, I support people in nurturing their emotional wellbeing through art.
Magic of Colours is not just a business.
It is an extension of how I care.
The Rahao Philosophy
At the heart of Magic of Colours is one guiding value:
Rahao — pause, reflect, return.
In a world that moves quickly and demands constant productivity,
Rahao invites us to slow down.
To create with intention.
To celebrate moments fully.
To reconnect with ourselves and each other.
Every experience at Magic of Colours is built around this simple idea —
that creativity helps us come home to ourselves.
